That Doesn't Matter

"Kalo aku miskin, kamu masih mau temenan sama aku ngga?"

Kira-kira begitu katanya, itu sepenggal percakapan aku dengan seseorang. Dulu.

Hal itu membuat aku berfikir, is it that important if you have a friend that's so fucking rich and wealthy or poor as hell?

Dan waktu itu aku menjawab kira-kira begini:

"Hahaha.. Aku ngga peduli kamu mau kaya, miskin, anak presiden, atau orang biasa. Siapapun kamu, aku tetep jadi temen kamu"

Dan baru-baru ini, it got me thinking

It doesn't matter for me if you're rich, poor, fat, skinny, good looking, damn ugly, fair skin, dark skin.. Whatever you are, you are my friend. I wan't to make friend with you, not your car, money, skin care, or any of that.

Pertemanan mengajarkan kita untuk tidak pamrih, dan bijak.

Hell, even I admit it that I can't live without having one.

Dan komponen yang paling penting adalah: respect. I have a word about that "I don't care who the fuck you are, if you don't and won't respect me. I will do the exact same thing to you"

So, be grateful with what you have. Even your friends. A friend is a friend, no matter what.
